Biography
Dong-Hyeok Kim, M.D., Ph.D. As a physician-scientist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology, my academic mission is to improve cardiovascular outcomes through the integration of clinical excellence, investigator-initiated clinical research, precision medicine, and artificial intelligence. Throughout my career, I have sought to bridge unmet clinical needs with scientifically rigorous research, generating evidence that directly informs patient care while advancing the field of cardiovascular medicine. I received my M.D. degree from Korea University College of Medicine and subsequently completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiology with subspecialty expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology. I further pursued graduate education at Korea University Graduate School of Medicine, obtaining both Master's and Ph.D. degrees. Since joining Ewha Womans University Medical Center, I have continued to develop an integrated academic career encompassing patient
