Doctor Shahana Alasgarli

Dr. Shahana Alasgarli is an interventional cardiologist and heart failure specialist based in Azerbaijan. She is the Head of the Cardiology Department at Yeni Klinika, the largest hospital in the Caucasus region, and serves as the Head of the Heart Failure Working Group of the Azerbaijan Cardiology Society. Her clinical and academic interests include heart failure, interventional cardiology, and cardiomyopathies. Dr. Alasgarli is actively involved in clinical research and academic publishing, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Alasgarli is passionate about cardiology, continuous learning, and personal growth. She enjoys traveling and, above all, spending time with her son. She believes in constantly setting new goals, challenging herself, and turning those goals into achievements.
