Ms Madelien Regeer

Dr. M.V. Regeer is a cardiologist at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in Leiden, the Netherlands, with a subspecialty in cardiovascular imaging of structural heart disease. Her clinical work focuses on pre-procedural and intraprocedural imaging for transcatheter and surgical valve interventions, as well as echocardiography in adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD). She also has a particular clinical interest in cardiac amyloidosis and is involved in the multidisciplinary care of patients with this condition. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Regeer is actively involved in undergraduate medical education at Leiden University and in the training of cardiology residents, with a particular focus on cardiovascular imaging and echocardiography.
