Miodrag Ostojic MD, Ph.D., Fellow of ESC and ACC, Professor Emeritus at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Medicine (2012-), and a full member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He holds a Ph.D. degree (1982) from Medical Faculty, Belgrade, and gains additional knowledge from many international training courses and scientific visits. He was a fellow (1978-1979) and visiting assistant professor (1985-1986) at the Baylor College of Medicine and the Methodist Hospital, Houston, TX. He has long-standing national and international teaching and research experience, and well-developed international collaboration. He has excellent track records in research in the field of cardiology being principal investigator of more than 20 research projects. He published more than 800 scientific texts including 234 in peer-reviewed journals. According to Scopus, his Hirsch index is 36 with more than 14600 citations.
