Biography
Marisol Ascencio MD, PhD candidate, obtained her medical degree at Latin American School of Medicine, in Havana, Cuba. She completed her training in Cardiology at León University Hospital, Spain, and then she underwent a 2-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Bellvitge University Hospital, in Barcelona, Spain. Currently, she works as Interventional Cardiologist at Policlínica Gipuzkoa, and she is a PhD candidate at Barcelona University
