Biography
Dr. Raymond Chi-yan Fung is an interventional cardiologist. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 1997. He completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Department of Medicine and Geriatrics , United Christian Hospital in 2007. He was then promoted to Grantham Hospital as Associate Consultant. He pursued his postgraduate study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong leading to the award of a Master Degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2013. He obtained Hong Kong Heart Foundation Scholarship in the same year and underwent one year overseas fellowship training in the field of Interventional Cardiology at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He is currently the Chief of Cardiology Unit / Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Director at Princess Margaret Hospital specializing in Chronic Total Occlusion and Structural Heart Intervention.
