Dr. Ana Rita Francisco underwent cardiology residency training between 2013 and 2018 at the Santa Maria University Hospital – CHULN, E.P.E, Lisbon. Her main fields of interest are Interventional Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Diseases (GUCH). She underwent a cardiac intensive care fellowship at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Trust and a congenital heart disease fellowship at the Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou. She has taken part in over 20 research projects, with 12 published papers – 10 as first author. She is also a member of the cardiology teaching department at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.
