Doctor Luis Martinez Dolz

Dr. Martínez Dolz graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valencia in 1986. He earned the Medical Cardiology Specialist title at the Hospital Universitario La Fe in Valencia in 1993 and obtained his PhD with cum laude honors from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valencia in 1995. He is the head of the Cardiology Department and director of the Cardiovascular Area at the Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe in Valencia. He is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Valencia and director of the Clinical and Translational Research Group in Cardiology at the La Fe Health Research Institute as well as the CIBER CV research group CB16/11/00261. He has participated in more than 30 research projects, published more than 250 articles in peer-review journals, 12 books chapters, and directed/tutored 11 doctoral theses.
