Cardiologist and Sports Medicine Physician working since 1984 in the field of Sports Cardiology at the Institute of Sports Medicine and Science of the Italian Olympic Committee. He devoted his scientific activity to cardiac arrhythmias and sports. His papers published on Journal of American College of Cardiology about the clinical significance of ventricular arrhythmias in athletes had great impact on medical clinical practice. Since 1994 he dedicated his medical assistance to the Ferrari Formula 1 Sport Team and to the Ferrari Company (Corporate Wellness and Primary Prevention Projects). From 2007 to 2011 Prof. Biffi was the President of the Italian Society of Sports Cardiology. He is member of the Nucleus of the Primary Care and CV Risk Management Section of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (ESC)
