Biography
Guilherme Portugal, MD, MSc is an EHRA certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist working in Santa Marta Hospital, a University Hospital in Lisbon Portugal, currently responsible for the EP program performing 700 ablations/year. Has a special interest in congenital heart disease and invasive treatment of complex cardiac arrythmias including VT. Invited professor of Cardiology at NOVA Medical School, Lisbon. Visiting fellow at Herzzentrum Leipzig and Hospital European Georges Pompidou. Reviewer for Europace, International Journal of Cardiology. 2020-2022 - member of EHRA certification committee for Cardiac Electrophysiology. Board member of APAPE 2023-2025.
