Biography
Prof. Edward Koifman is a senior interventional cardiologist at Wolfson Medical Center, Holon, Israel and a professor of medicine in the medicine faculty of Tel Aviv University. He graduated medical school at the fauclty of medicine in Tel-Aviv university, finished internal medicine residency and cariology fellowship in Chaim Sheba Medical Center. He was an Interventional cardiology fellow at MedStar Washington Hospital Center for 3 years where he conducted research in various fields of cardiovascular medicine in addition to clinical training in complex coronary, structural and peripheral interventions. His current interests are intracoronary imaging and physiology, application of artificial intelligence in the cath lab, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral valve repair, complex coronary interventions including left main disease and chronic total occlusions.
