Biography
Associate Professor Satoshi Higuchi, MD, PhD, is an interventional cardiologist with expertise in coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and structural heart disease, including transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve interventions. He graduated from Keio University School of Medicine in 2004 and completed his postgraduate training at Hiratsuka City Hospital, Keio University Hospital, Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital, and Kyorin University Hospital. Since 2021, he has served on the faculty of Showa Medical University. His research focuses on cardiovascular outcomes, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes using large-scale clinical registries and nationwide databases.
