Biography
Dr Theodoros Christophides studied with scholarship at University College London (UCL), achieving dual degrees in Medicine and Immunology (BSc (Hons), MBBS). He subsequently completed his basic training in Internal Medicine, gaining the Diploma of the Royal College of Physicians (UK, London) and was admitted as a member to the College (MRCP). He then completed his Cardiology training (CCST), with subspecialisation in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Implantable Electronic Devices, for which he also holds international accreditation (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist - ΙBHRE), as well as being certified in Heart Failure Management by the ESC. He subsequently pursued further postgraduate studies in Precision Medicine (MSc) at the University of Cyprus. He has received numerous awards and distinctions during his career, regularly presents in international meetings and has published in several high impact scientific journals. He is CRM lead clinician at the Nicosia General Hospital, Cyprus.
