Doctor Nadir Elamin

Dr Nadir Elamin is a structural and interventional cardiologist with a clinical and academic background spanning coronary and structural heart disease. He gained his medical degree from the University of Sheffield and trained in interventional and structural cardiology at Inselspital, University Hospital Bern, From October 2026 he takes up a substantive Structural interventional cardiology consultant post at Glenfield Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester, United Kingdom. His clinical practice covers PCI as well as the full spectrum of structural intervention, including TAVI, mitral and tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair. His research interests centre on structural heart innovation.
