Dr Julius Mwita is an associate professor in the Department of internal medicine at the University of Botswana. He is an internist and cardiologist at Princess Marina Hospital, Botswana. He also holds a Master of science in clinical epidemiology from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Dr Mwita’s research interests include heart failure, rheumatic heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes.
