Prof. Massimo Chessa was born in July 1967 in Italy. He is a specialist in Cardiology and in Pediatric; for more than 20 years he is dealing with the treatment of Congenital Heart Disease in children, teenagers, and adults. Since 2000 he works at IRCCS-Policlinico San Donato, where is the Head of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease UNIT. He is Associate Professor of Cardiology at Vita Salute San Raffaele University, Milan. He works mainly as an interventional cardiologist. He is the author of several scientific publications. He's the Founder of the Italian ACHD/GUCH Association. He is the Representative of his Centre for the European Reference Network (ERN-HEART GURD).
