Otilia Țica is a Romanian Cardiologist (finished Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy- Magna cum laude) and a Senior Reserch Fellow in Cardiovascular Sciences at UoB. She has her PhD in Cardiology and Post-Doctoral studies in Biomedical Sciences. Otilia is elected by the European Society of Cardiology, as the Romanian Young National Ambassador for Acute CardioVascular Care Association and also a Heart Failure Specialist of Tomorrow Committee (ESC-HoT) and Acute Heart Failure Committee (ESC-AHF) 2020-2022. She is the past president for the Romanian Young Cardiologist Club 35 and also part of the core leadership of this Club 35. Dr. Țica chaired several national and international Cardiology meetings and presented at European Society of Cardiology Congresses and American Heart Association meetings. She published as first author several articles (on atrial fibrillation and heart failure) in ISI journals and high-impact journals as Lancet and helps to improve cardiovascular patients’ outcomes.
