Biography
Dr Cannata is currently a Clinical Research Associate in the Heart Failure department at King’s College Hospital – King’s College London under the lead of Prof Theresa McDonagh. He is also a visiting Scientist at the Cardiovascular Department of the University of Trieste. Dr Cannata's interests are in Heart failure and, specifically, in Cardiomyopathies. His research projects focus on heart failure epidemiology and treatment, cardio-oncology, cardiomyopathies, inequalities in care, and the role of heart failure specialised care in improving care for patients with HF. He is also an associate editor for the European Heart Journal and the European Journal of Heart Failure. Dr Cannata is the immediate past chair of the HFA Young Board Committee for the 2022-2024 mandate and co-chair of the ESC Young CV professional for 2024-2026.
