Assoc. Prof Calvin Chin is a Senior Consultant, Clinician Scientist and the Director of the Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) Center at the National Heart Centre Singapore. His research examines cardiac remodeling in cardiometabolic diseases such as hypertensive heart disease; and translating novel CMR techniques such as exercise stress CMR to clinical practice. In recognition of his research, Dr. Chin has received several national and international awards, including the American Heart Association Young Investigator Award (2018), American College of Cardiology Young Investigator Award (2015), British Heart Valve Society Young Investigator Award (2015) and the Singhealth Publish Award (2015 and 2016). Asst. Prof Chin is the recipient of the Clinician Scientist Award in 2018, a talent development award by the National Medical Research Council in Singapore.
