Sergey Tolstov graduated from Saratov State Medical University in 1994. From 1994 to 1996 He studied in clinical internship at the Department of Hospital Therapy, Medical Faculty, Saratov State Medical University. From 1996 to 2018 He worked as head of the cardiology department of the emergency hospital, as an employee of the department of therapy at Saratov State Medical University. In 2007, she defended her thesis on the “Clinical and diagnostic value of cytokine activation and endothelial dysfunction in patients with chronic heart failure and the possibility of correcting existing disorders”. In 2018 Awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in the dissertation on the topic: "Cardiovascular pathology and risk factors for its development in women of the menopausal period: clinical and functional relationships, features of the course and treatment." Since 2018 she is currently the head of the vascular center of the cardiology clinic, a professor at the Department of Therapy.
