Doctor Ibrahim Saeed

Dr Ibrahim Saeed is a native Virginian, received his undergraduate degree in Physics & Biology from the University of Virginia, and his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia. His initial interest was a combined internship and residency in both Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at the University of Texas in Houston. After his Chief year, he focused on a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Washington University in St Louis / Barnes-Jewish Hospital. After three years on staff as Assistant Professor at Washington University, he then went on to set up Cardiovascular MR program at St Luke's Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City (top 20 in CMS volume in the US). After a decade there, he returned to the health system he was born in, to develop the first dedicated digital Cardiovascular PET program in Washington Metropolitan Area. In his spare time, he loves to teach and travel, particularly with his boys on high adventure programs within the Boy Scouts.
