Prof. Gerber has obtained his M.D. and cardiology specialization at the UCLouvain and subspecialized in non-invasive cardiac imaging, and in particular cardiac CMR during a post-doctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He currently works at the Cliniques Universitaires St. Luc, UCLouvain, Brussels Belgium ant is involved in multimodality cardiac imaging using different imaging modalities including echocardiography, cardiac CT, nuclear imaging and particular cardiac MR. He is Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal Cardiovascular Imaging (cMR section) and was Chair of the CMR section and Vice-President of the EACVI from 2020 until 2022. He is currently the president of the Belgian Society of Cardiology (bscardio.be)
