Søren Paaske Johnsen is a clinical epidemiologist and health services researcher. He is professor of clinical health services research at Aalborg University and consultant at Aalborg University Hospital, Aalborg Denmark. He heads the Danish Center for Clinical Health Services Research, which is a multidisciplinary research center focusing on the evaluation of quality improvement strategies, disparities in the use of evidence-based care and evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of clinical interventions in routine clinical settings.
