Biography
Siana Jones is a Senior Research Fellow at University College London, based in the Institute of Cardiovascular Science. Her work focuses on exercise physiology, cardiovascular health, and ageing, with expertise in skeletal muscle function and the assessment of physical capability in older adults. She contributes to population-based and clinical research exploring how physiological systems influence health and functional decline, including in cardiometabolic conditions. Her research uses advanced methods such as near-infrared spectroscopy and integrative physiological assessments. Outside of research, she enjoys staying active and running with her local club in London.
