Associate Professor Izhak Kehat

Izhak kehat MD, PhD is an associate professor at the Dept. of Physiology, biophysics, and system biology, at the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a senior cardiologist at the Rambam Medical canter (Haifa, Israel) echocardiography unit. The kehat lab is focused on the systemic identification of the transcriptional, translational, and epigenetic control of the cardiovascular system, and in particular on the mechanisms of sarcomere maintenance growth and failure.
