Dr. Lapinskas is a board certified cardiologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with ischemic heart disease (coronary artery disease), non-ischemic heart disease and heart failure at the Department of Cardiology, Medical Academy, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. He has a special interest in cardiovascular imaging with high experience (level 3) in cardiac MRI. Dr. Lapinskas received his medical degree from Kaunas University of Medicine in 2008. He completed residency of Cardiology at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2013. He also went on to complete several Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowships at the University of Gent (Belgium), University Medical Center Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and German Heart Center Berlin (Germany) in 2010-2018. Dr. Lapinskas is a dedicated educator of medical students, interns, residents, and fellows. Dr. Lapinskas is an EACVI HIT ambassador for Lithuania and national HoT representative at HFA.
