John Deanfield is Professor of Cardiology at UCL and Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, London. He is Director of the National Centre for Cardiovascular Prevention and Outcomes and the National Institute for Cardiovascular Outcomes Research. He has chaired numerous Boards e.g. Joint British Societies National Guidelines for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and with Public Health England, NHS Choices and NHS England led the development of the public Heart Age Tool. He is widely published in leading medical and scientific journals (Papers 468; Citations >104K; H index 131).
