Doctor Teresa Castiello

Doctor Castiello has twenty years of post-graduate experience. She qualified in Rome's La Sapienza University, in 2001 with honors. After completion of Specialisation in Cardiology and a long humanitarian mission in Africa, she earned a consultant post at San Raffaele in Rome. Currently Doctor Castiello is settled in London, where she leads the HF and Cardiomyopathy Service at Croydon University Hospital. Her imaging specialty is Cardiac MRI (level3), which she performs at King's College and St Thomas Hospital. Alongside clinical duties, she is very active in the national and international scientific societies. She is Fellow of the HFA and board member of the HFA Patient Care committee . She has also a relevant teaching role within the Royal Society of Medicine, since she is the Educational Lead for the HF trainees in London. She is principal investigator of a number of trials and she is author and co-authors of peer review papers and on line educational sources.
