Biography
Dr. Mario Matta works in the Electrophysiology Lab at Cardiology Division, Sant’Andrea Hospital, Vercelli, Italy. After graduation in Medicine at University of Turin in 2011, he attended Cardiology School at University of Turin (Chair Prof. F. Gaita), and subsequently worked as Electrophysiogy Fellow at “Città della Salute e della Scienza” Hospital, University of Turin, Italy. He is experienced in the field of Electrophysiology, currently performing catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, supraventricular and ventricular tachycardias at his Centre, along with pacemaker and defibrillator implantations and left atrial appendage closure. He is Author of several publications in the field of cardiac arrhythmias mapping and ablation, mainly concerning atrial fibrillation, and sudden cardiac death. He is a current member of the European Heart Rhythm Association, of the Italian Society of Cardiology and of the Italian Association of Arrhythmology and Cardiac Pacing.
