Doctor Gabriel Cismaru

Dr. Cismaru Gabriel is a graduate of the "Iuliu Hatieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca. After completing the specialty of cardiology which lasted 6 years he became a fellow in electrophysiology at CHU Nancy in France where he learned the ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Upon his return to the Cluj-Napoca Electrophysiology Laboratory in Romania, he started working both with three-dimensional mapping systems such as Carto 3 -Bionsense Webster and Ensite-NAVX-Saint Jude - but also with a Medtronic cryogenic system. His experience in invasive electrophysiology is 11 years (2011-2021). Four years ago, he started his training in pediatric cardiology, respectively catheter ablations of arrhythmias in children. His experience in implanting cardiac devices is longer, 15 years (2007-2021). He currently implants pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization devices, and in 2020 had the first case of His bundle pacing.
