Biography
Andreas Protopapas is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Department of Health Sciences, School of Sciences, at European University Cyprus, and serves as Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Nursing. He was awarded his PhD in Cardiology Nursing in 2017 by the Department of Nursing at the Cyprus University of Technology. He holds a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma in Intensive Care Units and Cardiology Nursing from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which he graduated with distinction. He holds a BSc in Nursing from the Cyprus University of Technology and a Diploma in General Nursing from the Cyprus School of Nursing. He has more than 15 years of clinical experience, primarily in emergency care. He uses simulation-based education, including the development and delivery of emergency-care scenarios, and promotes clinical He served as President of the Working Group of Cardiac Nursing for the Cyprus Society of Cardiology from 2021 to 2023.
