He received PhD degree at the Medical University of Barnaul, Russia in 1999. In 2009 he received Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc). His main research interest is the all cardiac arrhythmia field, with a special interest in atrial fibrilation and ventricular tahycardia. In 2014 he became the president of Kazakh society of arrhythmologists. In 2018 and 2022 he was re-elected for the next term 2022-2026. Since 2015, he has annually organized and conducted an international school in clinical electrophysiology and interventional arrhythmology with the participation of leading arrhythmologists from Europe, the USA, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries (Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan). In 2020, this School was held as EHRA in Kazakhstan course. He also lectures and, as a proctor, arranges master classes not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the countries of Central Asia, Russia, Pakistan and Turkey.
