I'm a senior interventional cardiologist at the Cardiology Division of the Istituto Clinico Sant'Ambrogio GSD, Milan, Italy. I have authored more than 150 manuscripts and abstracts, published in peer-reviewed literature. My areas of expertise include interventional cardiovascular therapies of acute coronary syndromes, unprotected left main disease, complex coronary artery disease and aortic valve stenosis. Furthermore I'm interested in the performance of interventional devices such as newer generation drug-eluting stents (DES), drug coated ballons (DCB) and bioresorbable vascular scaffolds (BRS). I'm also the Principal Investigator of two ongoing Italian multicenter studies assessing the performance of BRS in the STEMI setting (BVS STEMI STRATEGY-IT study -NCT02601781) and of a hybryd DES plus DCB strategy (HYPER study -NCT03939468-) for the treatment of diffuse coronary artery disease.
