Doctor Yu-Chen Wang

Yu-Chen Wang, MD, PhD, FESC, FAPSC, is an interventional cardiologist and Associate Professor at Asia University in Taiwan. He became Director of the Division of Cardiology at Asia University Hospital in 2016 and Director of its Department of Internal Medicine in 2021. He serves as Secretary General of the Taiwan Myocardial Infarction Society and holds leadership roles in the Taiwan Society of Cardiovascular Interventions and the Taiwan Society of Lipids and Atherosclerosis. His clinical and research interests include acute myocardial infarction, antiplatelet and lipid-lowering therapies, residual cardiovascular risk, electronegative LDL biology, and artificial intelligence applications in cardiovascular medicine. He has contributed to national and Asia-Pacific guidelines, consensus statements, multicentre registries, and AI-enabled ECG research.
