Francesca is currently working at Azienda USL-IRCCS di Reggio Emilia, Italy as staff cardiologist, dedicated to basic and advanced echocardiography. She completed her Cardiology Fellowship at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2014. From 2014 to 2017 she completed her Ph.D in Clinical and Experimental Medicine in the same university. From 2012 to 2013 she had been a research fellow in the valvular research program at Mayo Clinic, and continued to be a research collaborator for many years once back in Italy. Her research activity focused mainly on valve diseases. She has several international and national connections and projects. She is part of the research committee of SIECVI (Società Italiana di Ecografia e CardioVascular Imaging). She has more than 30 abstracts presented to national and international conferences and more than 25 original papers published.
