Doctor Sheila Sahni

Dr. Sheila Sahni is an interventional cardiologist and the director of the Women’s Heart Program at Sahni Heart Center in Clark, NJ. She is affiliated with Hackensack-Meridian Heath in NJ. She graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Nursing and Health Studies and received her medical degree from Georgetown University’s School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at David Geffen School of Medicine UCLA where she served as Chief Fellow. Her clinical interests include prevention, women’s heart disease, high-risk coronary revascularization and radial interventions. She has pioneered the use of social media for cardiovascular disease education and advocacy. She recently appeared as a physician expert on TBS&TNT’s groundbreaking medical series, Chasing the Cure, a show using media as a platform to crowdsource a diagnosis for patients.
