Biography
He is former Director of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing Unit and Chairman of the Department of Cardiology/Cardiac-Thoracic-Vascular Surgery "A. De Gasperis", Niguarda Hospital, Milan, Italy. He was lecturer at Milan-Bicocca University and Varese-Insubria University. His clinical and research interests are focused on implantable device therapy and catheter mapping and ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. He is the past Director of the Cardiac Pacing Course of the Educational Committee of the EHRA (European Heart Rhythm Association), branch of the ESC (European Society of Cardiology). He is an internationally recognized educator and speaker on device therapy of cardiac arrhythmias.
