Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at ULS Santa Maria, Lisbon, with a decade of experience in coronary and structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral and tricuspid interventions, and defect closures. I am particularly interested in finding percutaneous interventional solutions for complex cases. My academic and research activity focuses on the integration of emerging technologies in cardiovascular medicine, particularly 3D printing, simulation, and mixed/extended reality for procedural planning, training, and innovation. As Principal and Co-Investigator in several clinical and translational studies, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Lisbon, I am committed to advancing precision and safety in interventional cardiology through education, research, and technology-driven solutions.
