Dr Lieven Herbots graduated in Medicine at the Catholic University Leuven. During his training as a cardiologist he worked at the Tygerberg Hospital of the University Of Stellenbosch, South-Africa. He holds master degrees in Medical Imaging and Hospital Management. He is specialised in non-invasive cardiac imaging and has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. From 2017-2019 he is president of the Belgian Working Group on Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging.
