Professor Daniel Ketelhuth

Daniel F. J. Ketelhuth is Professor of Cardiovascular Pharmacology at the University of Southern Denmark and a leading researcher in cardiovascular immunology and immunometabolism. His work focuses on immune–metabolic regulation of vascular inflammation and cardiovascular disease, with major contributions to the understanding of atherosclerosis and related vascular pathologies, including abdominal aortic aneurysm. Professor Ketelhuth is actively engaged in scientific leadership, serving on editorial boards of leading cardiovascular journals, including as Section Editor of European Heart Journal Open, and in advisory and committee roles within major international societies.
