Professor Elisabeta Badila

Elisabeta Bădilă is Professor of Cardiology at the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and Head of the Cardiology Department at Colentina Clinical Hospital. She is a specialist in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Her clinical and research interests centre on arterial hypertension, heart failure, cardiovascular prevention, and cardiometabolic risk. She holds a PhD in Medicine and obtained her habilitation in 2021. A Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology since 2011 and a European Society of Hypertension Specialist in Arterial Hypertension since 2008, she is active within several ESC councils and the Heart Failure Association. She has been Vice-President of the Romanian Society of Cardiology since 2023. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and around 60 book chapters and has been an investigator in several international multicentre trials.
