Biography
Wen-Chin Ko, MD, PhD. currently serves as the Director of the Division of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology at Cathay General Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr Ko received postgraduate training at Cathay General Hospital, followed by fellowships at National Taiwan University Hospital and the University of Massachusetts Medical Center (USA). Dr. Ko is an Associate Professor at Fu Jen Catholic University. He holds several board certifications, including Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He serves as a Board Director for the Taiwan Society of Cardiology and a Supervisor for the Taiwan Heart Rhythm Society. He is also a recognized Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and the European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Ko has published in SCI journals on topics such as myocardial fibrosis, atrial fibrillation, and vascular calcification. His academic contributions have earned him accolades, most recently the Best Moderated Poster Award at the 29th Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology 2025.
