Biography
Dr. Salah Eldin is an Emeritus Professor & Ex-Head of the Cardiology Department at Cairo University. He was previously Director of the Cath Lab & CCUs at Cairo University hospitals. He is the President of the Working Group of Dyslipidemia & Atherosclerosis of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology and the founder of the Egyptian CPR League. He is also the president of Cairo Heart Association.
He is a Fellow of 5 international bodies: FACC, FCCP, FSCAI, FESC, and FRCP (Glasg).
Trained in vascular ultrasound (USA, 1993), CTCA (UK, 2007), and coronary intervention (Germany), he has delivered numerous presentations, organized conferences, and chaired workshops. He has many publications, mainly on atherosclerosis and cardiac interventions, and is the executive editor of the Heart Mirror Journal.
He participated in international multicenter studies and received two awards for best interventional case presentations. He is included in Who’s Who in the World..
