Biography
Dr Andre Briosa e Gala is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at University Hospital Southampton. He trained in cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and devices in the UK, including at University Hospital Southampton, and completed an Electrophysiology Fellowship at Inselspital, Bern University Hospital. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and holds EHRA certification in cardiac electrophysiology and IBHRE device accreditation.
He completed a PhD in atrial fibrillation and digital health at Oxford University Hospitals, including the Heart Research UK–funded SMART-ALERT study under Prof Tim Betts, and has experience as a Clinical Specialist at Google Health
