Biography
Professor Juan-Carlos Kaski, DSc, MD, DM (Hons), FRCP, FESC, FHFA, FRSM, FACC, FAHA Professor Kaski is Professor of Cardiovascular Science (Emeritus), St George’s, University of London, UK, and Past-Director of the Cardiovascular and Cell Sciences Research Institute at St George’s, University of London. He is Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at St George’s University Teaching Hospitals, NHS Trust and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK. Prof Kaski is Chairman of the European Society of Cardiology Working Group on Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy, Deputy Editor of the European Heart Journal, Editor-in-Chief of European Cardiology Review Journal, and Editor of the ESC Handbook on Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. JC Kaski is Fellow of over 30 scientific societies worldwide, Doctor Honoris Causa of several universities, a recipient of the Gold Medal of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, and a past-President of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharma
