Raffaele De Lucia was born on 24th February 1979 in Livorno (Italy) and graduated cum laude in Medicine at University of Insubria in 2004. He specialized cum laude in Cardiology in 2009 (University of Pisa). He achieved EHRA certification in Cardiac Pacing and Defibrillator on 2014 and in Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology on 2015. He is an EHRA Member, Fellow of the ESC and he is the Chair-Elect of the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology. His clinical work includes interventional electrophysiology and ablation, lead extraction, leadless pacing, CRT, cardiac pacing, transvenous and subcutaneous ICD implantation, and clinical electrophysiology. He is working at Second Division of Cardiology, University Hospital of Pisa since 2017. On 2019 he won the Best Oral e-Cardiology Abstract EHRA 2019 with the research titled “The in-ear region as a novel anatomical site for ecg signal detection”. He's author or co-author of 31 publications (h-index 13, Scopus Gen 2023).
