Biography
Raffaele De Lucia, MD, FESC, is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the Second Division of Cardiology, University Hospital of Pisa, Italy. He graduated cum laude in Medicine at the University of Insubria and specialised cum laude in Cardiology at the University of Pisa. He holds EHRA certifications in Cardiac Pacing and Defibrillation and in Interventional Electrophysiology. His clinical activity focuses on interventional electrophysiology and ablation, lead extraction, leadless pacing, CRT, cardiac pacing, and ICD implantation. He is Chairperson of the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology, Member of the EHRA Digital and AI Committee, and Member of the ESC AI Gateway Committee for the 2026–2028 term. He is a Fellow of the ESC and an EHRA Member. He has authored or co-authored 51 scientific documents, with 1,013 citations and an h-index of 17 according to Scopus.
