Biography
Raffaele De Lucia was born on 24th February 1979 in Livorno (Italy). He graduated cum laude in Medicine at the University of Insubria in 2004 and specialised cum laude in Cardiology at the University of Pisa in 2009. He obtained EHRA certifications in Cardiac Pacing and Defibrillator (2014) and Interventional Electrophysiology (2015). He is an EHRA Member, Fellow of the ESC, and Chair-Elect of the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology. His clinical activity includes interventional electrophysiology and ablation, lead extraction, leadless pacing, CRT, cardiac pacing, and ICD implantation. Since 2017 he has been working at the Second Division of Cardiology, University Hospital of Pisa. He received the Best Oral e-Cardiology Abstract Award at EHRA 2019 and was runner-up for the e-Cardiology Award at EHRA 2024. He is author or co-author of 45 publications, with 934 citations and an h-index of 17.
