Associate Professor Bäck is a senior researcher and physiotherapist with expertice within exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation. She is working as an adjunct senior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences at Linkoping University, and as a physiotherapist at Sahlgrenska University Hopsital in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is co-chairing the ESC task Force on Allied Professions and the EAPC task force on physiotherapists and is member of the Secondary prevention and rehabilitation section of EAPC. Dr Back is part of the SWEDEHEART steering group and past chair of the Swedish Association on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Health Professions. Her research interest covers effects of physical activity and exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in cardiovascular disease, studies using eHealth-solutions, including telerehabilitation, and registry-based studies.
