Biography
Giulio Stefanini trained in Cardiology at Sapienza University or Rome (IT) and completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Bern University Hospital (CH) supported by competitive grants of the EAPCI and of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SPUM Program). He obtained a PhD in Experimental Medicine at University of Rome Tor Vergata (Rome, IT), and a MSc in Health Economics and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences at the LSE (London, UK), supported by a ESC scholarship. He currently holds a professorship at Humanitas University and works as clinical and interventional cardiologist at Humanitas Research Hospital (Milan, IT), where he serves as Head of Clinical Research of the Cardio Center. His research is currently funded by competitive grants from the ERA4Health Partnership, Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) and the Italian Ministries of Health and Research. He currently serves as Chair of the Research Initiatives and Innovation Committee of the EAPCI (2022-2024).
