Dimitrios A. Vrachatis (MD, MSc, PhD, FESC) graduated Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, followed the cardiology residence program in the Green National Health System. He successfully completed the European Exam of Cardiology held by ESC. Following his core training, Dr. Vrachatis pursued a clinical research fellowship in Humanitas Clinical and Research Center IRCCS (Milan, Italy). Dr. Vrachatis has been an author in more than 130 articles in highly cited scientific international journals. He has served as peer-reviewer in international journals. Dr. Vrachatis has authored a series of Greek and International book chapters. He has also participated in the review process of international research proposals. He is actively practicing Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology in Eugenideio Clinic in Athens, Greece.
