Biography
Dr Eleanor Wicks is a Consultant Cardiologist, former Lead of the Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) & Heart Failure (HF) services in Oxford and is an Honorary Consultant at Bart’s Heart Centre, London. She has specialist interests in HF, multimodality imaging, acquired & inherited cardiac conditions, sarcoid and digital health. She studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh, UK. After qualifying in 2004, she trained in General Medicine, gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009 & completed her general cardiology training at Barts Heart Centre, London, UK. She was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist with dual accreditation in general medicine in 2016. In 2019 she became an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford. Eleanor combines energy & drive with clinical leadership, operational management and entrepreneurship to deliver flagship services. She embraces innovation, education & collaboration to effect visions & pioneering research.
